maintaining an extensive stock range, providing competitive prices and supplying excellent customer service.

The main duties of the role will include:
– Preparation of all outgoing stock.
– Using cutting machinery to ensure all customer orders are completed accurately and – Working closely with the sales team to ensure all orders are completed accurately and within the agreed
timeframe.
– Checking all material loaded onto our vehicles or customer vehicles is loaded accurately, correctly and safely.
– Checking all steel movements off suppliers’ vehicles and signing paperwork.
– Booking in stock deliveries and completing the booking in slips.
– Recording of any Non Conformances, including completion of the NCR form.
– Assisting other warehouse employees with their daily duties when required
– Loading and unloading of vehicles.
– Making deliveries / collections in the company transit van
– Any other reasonable duties, which may be required by Management from time to time.
The successful candidate will have:
– Previous experience in a similar role – Essential
– Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
– Knowledge of the steel industry – Desirable
– Previous experience working on band saws – Desirable
